Green Bay is a beach full of fond memories of long summers spent by the sea. It is the location where I had my first swim and learned to swim over 25 years ago. Golden sands, crystal clear blue waters, rocks ideal for diving and power bombs (no you are never too old for a power bomb) and friendly fun loving people create a festive atmosphere during the summer months. The rest of the year the raw beauty of the location (I am a bit biased but hey it’s my review) and the smell of the sea air can clear you of any stress and let you enjoy the scenery.

If you are a bit of a daredevil you can also learn water-skiing and/or wake-boarding at the Green Bay’s resident water sports expert Themis.

Green bay is also ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving and the water visibility exceeds 25 meters (even though you’ll have to swim for a while until you reach that depth.
