Cyprus

Cyprus (Greek: Κύπρος), alternatively known as the island of Venus, is located in the Mediterranean Sea.
The weather in Cyprus is warm and sunny nearly 9 months a year and with the winter being relatively mild the island is a divers’ heaven.
Water temperatures vary from 15 degrees Celsius to a boiling 30 degrees Celsius (late August early September), so with a 5mm wet suit you can easily and comfortably dive during the winter period and in the summer a 3mm wet suit will suffice for deep dives, whilst if you are planning to stay in the shallow no wet suit is necessary.

I have been snorkelling in Cyprus since I was 5 and I have been Scuba Diving for 12 years now and I must say I never get bored of it. Whether you are an avid, experienced scuba diver or someone experimenting with snorkelling the islands magnificent waters have to offer a plethora of mental pictures that will stay with you forever.

If you are planning a diving holiday in Cyprus or if you want to get information for good diving spots feel free to get in touch with me and I will be more than happy to share my knowledge of the Cyprus seas.
